LOCK 34 & WATERFALL

Just mere steps from downtown Fenelon Falls, Lock 34 first opened in 1922 to connect Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay. Now maintained and operated by Parks Canada this historic lock system is a popular summer destination for recreational boaters, and kayakers and a home to the many local residents. As one of the highest locks on the Trent Severn Waterway watching the boats go up and down the lock system is worth checking out. You'll usually find lots of visitors and people fishing here. The beautiful falls can be found on the lower side of the lock station. You can enjoy this view from The Locker at the Falls restaurant and patio.
