Kawartha Lakes 

Common bird sightings include loons, osprey, turkeys, owls, woodpeckers, Canada geese, variety of species of ducks, wrens, cardinals, eagles, sandhill cranes, tundra swans, blue jays, robins, crows, ravens and more. 

Ken Reid Conservation 

Located between Fenelon Falls and Lindsay it is home to much biodiversity and has a lot to offer nature enthusiasts. Its boardwalks are home to very friendly chickadees you can feed them right out of your hand and it’s evident that many people do! Its a great place to visit all year round and has something to offer all activity levels, from the off leash park and picnic area to gorgeous trails.
